LESSONS

Johnna plays and studies a variety of music, including Classical, Jazz, Blues, fingerstyle, Brazilian and other Latin styles.  She earned a B.A. and an M.M. in music and continues studying and developing her musicality through performing frequently as a soloist and in bands.

Her passion as a music educator has nurtured the talents of many aspiring musicians. In addition to teaching her students the fundamentals of music theory, Johnna teaches a variety of musical styles on the guitar to children and adults.  She has successfully prepared students for performances and auditions... and has helped bring novice players closer to their musical goals.  Her students have  performed in various recitals, ensembles (both children and adult ensembles), received merit achievements in Royal School of Music testings, and many college admission successes.  

Lessons are primarily taught at Maple Street Guitars in the Buckhead area of Atlanta.
